McCain loves to say that Bush mismanaged the first 4 years of the war. He is trying to distant himself from Bush – an unpopular president he supported 95% of the time.
During those 4 years, McCain was a senior Republican Senator in a Republican controlled Senate with a Republican President. Why did it take McCain FOUR long years to convince Bush to change strategy? What does that say about McCain’s ability to work within his own party? What does that say about his effectiveness?
Why did McCain stand by for 4 long years and allow his pal Bush to mismanage the war? How many soldiers died needlessly because of McCain’s inaction or incompetence?
These are questions that the main stream media fails to raise.
